Creative solution
Mercado da Alfândega is a street event in the Alfândega Street in Faro-Algarve, with cultural animation, music, theatre and exhibitions. The objective of this initiative was to enhance this riverside area as a place of commerce and stories. The Faro Customs is located in the place ever in front of the Faro dock, where for a long time (between 1499 and 1874) it was in the city market. Our challenge was to define a new brand with a strong typeface communication, creating new values for the identity of this project.

Using the RUHA stencil we set a number of features and letters, built using elements that were added on to or superimposed upon each other, exploring the form and normal characteristic of this technique.
